Montecito Estate Wedding
When Laura called and shared with me she was friends of a past Bride, not to mention her “un traditional” wedding plan, I knew we were destined for a good time!!!
Laura and Ronnie met in grade school. A top priority for the couple was to tie the knot in the church they grew up in, and continue to attend, in Manhattan Beach. However, they were also very much into having a party, and when I say party, I mean P A R T Y !!!!! The church ceremony took place on Monday, in Manhattan Beach, and the other two parties took place Friday night and Saturday, both in Montecito, CA.
Their 300+ guests were all traveling for their destination party, so they decided to host a welcome dinner for their closest family and friends at the Coral Casino at the Biltmore, followed by deserts and cocktails for all guests. To facilitate the weekend’s festivities, they choose the talented ladies of La Fete Weddings. Colette and Kaitlynn of La Fete Weddings designed an abundant welcome station, where guests received an empty bag, and got to fill it up to their hearts content! From fresh fruit, to the makings of margarita’s and a homemade hangover kit, Laura and Ronnie’s guests were in for a treat!
Saturday morning rolled around and it was a day I’ll never forget. BEAUTY abounded. The private estate they chose to celebrate their vows was hands down, perfection. Meticulously manicured grounds, two mansions, and my favorite spot (because it would be a perfect yoga and pilates studio) an entire conservatory dedicated to desert … amazing!!!!!!
Laura and Ronnie had a blessing of vows, topped off with a champagne saber, and then enjoyed a night with their family and friends, coupled with lavish food by the delectable Good Gracious Events, and boogieing down to their live band, who rocked!!!
