Marc and Marissa tied the knot in their hometown of Long Beach.  When Marissa reached out to me about a year ago I was so thrilled.  Her finance’, Marc’s and my parents where best friends in their college days.  In fact 35 years ago, my sister was Marc’s parents flower girl at their wedding, at Alisal Ranch!  I remember their wedding, and being envious of my sisters awesome mauve dress she got to wear.  Even though I had not seen Marc nor his family in many years, we’ve traded holiday cards for over 20 years, and I remember him so vividly as a young boy.  It was a pure joy to be a part of this moment in time.

Flash forward to Fall 2016 and here we are, Marc and Marissa starting their own adventure in life together.  Their wedding was one filled with family and close friends.  Their ceremony was held at beautiful St Anthony’s Catholic Church in Long Beach, and reception in Marc’s parents backyard.  It was a down-home feeling affair with delicious food (as expected in the Morimotto home), close friends, love and an ice cream truck!
