This Croad Winery Wedding Paso Robles is certain to spark an interest if you’re newly engaged over this holiday season .. and if you are, congratulations! Each year a handful of wedding ignite an ultra excitement in our studio for various reasons. It could the location, the couple, it could be the destination, or the journey of what they are planning or how they met. When Isha walked into my studio last December in her short leather shorts and ankle boots, I knew I was in for a treat!
Isha is a visionary, and she knows what she wants. Isha had a definite vision and the ability to implement it! First she wanted an over the top engagement session, which we photographed in Big Sur, complete with ball gowns, props, and you know, dancing! (you can see that shoot here) Next she wanted the weirdest wedding ever to hit Paso Robles.
Watching Isha’s vision unfold was an exciting process, hearing bits and pieces to actually seeing it come to fruition at the wedding itself. Some elements of their Croad Winery Wedding Paso Robles were expected and timeless, like her bridesmaids’ dresses, all different designers and stunning jewelry. Other elements were a surprise to everyone at their wedding! Like a fire dancer and nymphs to sprinkle you with rose petals from above as you found your table, you know, what you experience at every wedding.
Isha choose two dresses for their big day. A more traditional one for the ceremony and a rocking dance outfit for the reception and after party.
The reception … Hopefully the photos give you an idea of what I will attempt to describe, but there were surprises around every corner of this wedding!!!! Pre-ceremony the guests enjoyed one of a kind libations; beer floats (yes, real beer) and sorbet martinis, served by the tuxedoed, mute butlers complete with masks and wigs. Upon arrival to the reception the guests were greeted by basically acrobats and flying nymphs! They were entertained for a long cocktail hour overlooking the vineyards of Paso Robles with aerial artists performing by hanging from the rafters. The guests were summons by a singer through the tasting room to the lower area where the meal would be enjoyed. At dinner the entertainment continued with a surprise of two burlesque dancers! I think Isha wanted to stand up and dance with them, it’s just her style, and she’s got the moves!
This wedding was full of character and was the talk of this little town for weeks. We are looking forward to another season full of one of a kind charm and personality! I highly recommend all of the vendors below! As you can see, they pulled together a once in a lifetime dream for Isha and Jeff’s wedding, where the theme, literally, was “Let’s get weird!”
