For a long while now I’d been wanting to have another studio to photograph the babes and kiddos in.  Finally I took the plunge, and created a space in our home.  With MUCH excitement, I’m happy to introduce Classic Kids by Allyson Magda!!!

The approach to these timeless images is simple; to capture the expression, size and personality of your little one(s) in a classic manner.  The images will be mostly black and white, and all studio portraits.  Since the digital revolution, outdoor portraits have become the norm, and don’t get me wrong, they are fabulous!   But when I look at my personal family images, I truly adore the simple, clean, classic images that decorate our walls.  The ones where I stop and study our daughter or dog, and don’t get distracted by the background, wild colors and props.

This is a project I’ve come to with renewed energy, and vision.  I’d like to share some of the images to give you a better sense of what I’ve talking about.  I hope you enjoy!
