The day I shot a Baby Buck ……
Ever since the birth of Piper I don’t really photograph babies any more, as I don’t have much time. Jill however does an excellent job!
This little babe buck Briley has significant meaning to our family, so we had a special session last weekend. He parents are both hunters, so naturally, they brought a few deer antlers to incorporate. While I was shooting, I looked over my shoulder to see the olive branch wreath hanging above our living room mantel. I had created it for the holidays out of a neighbors’ tree trimming scraps, you know “one mans trash is another man’s treasure.” The wreath fit around Briley perfect! I couldn’t help myself but to eventually switch the antlers to her head at the end of the session, and wha-la, a perfect Baby Buck! There you have it, the evolution of a photo session!!!!!
Obviously her family is just over the moon with the addition of Baby Briley to their family and Piper and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the opportunity to have her also somewhat be a part of our family! Welcome Baby Buck Briley!!!
