Four Seasons Lanai, Koele Lodge and Manele Bay Wedding
Wow, where to start with this post, I’m just not sure! Mits and I have been cyber friends back and forth for over a year and half now. When she first wrote me to inquire about her and Max’s wedding I could just tell we were going to hit it off and have a great time working together. This is in addition to the fact that her wedding was going to be on Lanai, which was on my bucket list of places to visit!
For me it’s equally important to connect with my couples as it is to photograph their wedding. I don’t jut want to be ‘another’ wedding photographer, I want to get to know them, and honestly a lot of times my clients end up my friends. Mits and Max where no exception! They choose The Lodge at Koele for their ceremony and reception and we did a sunrise shoot down at Manele Bay Four Seasons to start the day! God blessed us with beautiful light, I mean B E A U T I F U L light all day and for both sunrise and sunset shoots, yipppe!
Mits couldn’t decide between two dresses, so she did what every bride would want to do, and bought them both! Both where stunning Vera Wang gowns, as where her kickin’ shoes … you’ll see!
Mits and Max it was my pure joy and honor to be a part of such a special weekend for you both, you both are such wonderful beings, Mits I look forward to wathcing your photography career blossom!
Cheers to a lifetime of love, laughter and many blessings,
Allyson
O N E talented groom, I’ll say! When it was time to take some solo shots of Max, I asked him to sit on this table … and he started doing all this contortion stuff, I told him I’m not sure if he’s break dancing, or doing yoga! Mits piped in ‘well, he did used to be in the circus!’
Oh yea, Piper was there! She really really loved Lanai and just can’t wait to return. This is with her Aunt Alli…
The whole L O N G walk down to the ceremony Max was waving to Mits, it was just plain ole adorable, so sooo sweet!
At the reception they played a few games put together by Mit’s siblings, so fun and hilarous, good thing Max is a sport!
