Mexico Destination weddings; sayulita, punta mita, cabo san lucas, tulum, san miguel de allende
This past year I’ve had the pleasure of traveling internationally for weddings, and Mexico was at the top of the list! What’s to love about Mexico … for starters, it’s fairly close to California and easy to get to, relatively speaking, the weather is warm, the people are friendly, it’s affordable, the beaches are beautiful and the living is easy! What’s not to love?! I’ve had the experience of exploring rural Cabo San Lucas, the east cape of baja is amazing and serene!, Punta Mita area (on several occasions), Sayulita, and most recently the Caribbean side Mexico in Tulum.
If your’e in the planning stages of your destination wedding and happen to be reading this, I can’t encourage you enough to explore the possibility of Mexico! Even after 17 years in this industry, I continue to love exploring the world of weddings in new and fun places. Instead of a large local wedding, have you thought of a multi day EXPERIENCE with our closest family and friends? A few DAYS to enjoy everyone, instead of a few hours? Sounds divine! Your family and friends will thank you. Here are a few incredible resorts to consider: Four Seasons Punta Mita, St Regis Punta Mita, Imanta Resort near Sayulita, Hacienda Chekul Tulum, Mexico
Last spring Rochelle and Damian and I connected when they were in the early stages of planning their Tulum, Mexico beach wedding. They had booked stunning Hacienda Chekul in the biosphere of Tulum; secluded, jungle like, luxurious and intimate. It was their desire to have an experience with their closest family and friends, and share Tulum, a place that has their heart, with the ones closest to their heart. Indeed it was a grand adventure and a FUN way to start their marriage.
Congratulations Rochelle and Damian! Thank you for having me capture the start of your grand adventure together! xoxo allyson
