Paso Robles Engagement Photographer, Megan and Andrew at Orchard Hill Bed and Breakfast

The start of my 2015 season was with an awesome and fun engagement session with Megan and Andrew. Clients like them (well actually, like most all of my lovely couples) make my heart smile.

Andrew and Megan met here in San Luis Obispo County while in college at Cal Poly. We have the honor of shooting so many college couples from Cal Poly, it’s always fun to hear their stories and see where their adventures have taken them after leaving the area. Their particular journey together has landed them in the Bay Area, and they will official wed in August at the gorgeous Bear Flag Farm near Davis, CA.

Usually I walk away from my shoots / weddings etc with this happy and full heart and this day was no different. There’s something about my career that fills me up and keeps me going, even in the hardest times. Perhaps it’s the beautiful details, or the incredible venues I get to visit, but mostly I believe it’s due to being in an industry rooted in love. There’s just a great vibe when it comes to authentic love, and having the opportunity to photograph it for timeless images on behalf of my clients, “fills up my cup!” I believe Megan and Andrew felt the same …..
