Greetings and Happy 4th of July weekend!

In having some quite time this weekend I found myself working on my personal fine art after yoga this AM.  This is one of those hobbies that fills my soul.  There are a handful of things in life that truly fill my cup;  art, scuba, yoga, family fun, traveling, and reading.  These images came about in the process of three of those!  While on a diving trip, we pulled aside the road to an abandoned building.  On the last day of pretty much all dive trips we usually go on photo safari, because you shouldn’t dive within about 20 hours of your plane flight or you can get decompression illness … and nobody wants that!

While scouting locations Bryce wanted to check out this old half built building, so we did, and it didn’t disappoint.  My only regret is that we hadn’t explored it earlier in the trip, there were so many hidden gems to this space we had driven past dozens of times;  tons of colorful graffiti, interesting deteriorating architecture and it overlooked the Caribbean.  Can’t beat the view!

I shot these while we were exploring and am just this weekend having the opportunity to process them.  They say that happiness is found within, and when I work on my fine art, I find happiness like few other things in life.  The energy, color, joy that bursts from these photos pretty much puts a smile on my heart!  Hope you enjoy them as much as I do creating them! Have a safe and fun weekend friends!  God Bless American .. Art
