Just before the holiday madness I had the opportunity to go to New York City to photograph Katie and Gregg’s engagement photos.  What a lovely way to start the holidays, complete with a bit of snow, Christmas decor and cheer and the magic of the ‘ big apple .’

Katie had put together a fabulous list of locations for us to hit and we started out at the Greenwich Hotel, in the heart of the village.  We ventured to Battery Park, past the new World Trade Center, Lincoln Center, The HighLine, Central Park, The Modern (restaurant at MOMA) and finished up at a wildly busy Rockefeller Center!  Whew, it was a day, and beautiful at that!

I can’t wait for their wedding celebration this summer in Carmel & Big Sur.  Another weekend full of love, laughter, joy and photos!  Thank you Kat and Gregg for all your hospitality and being beautiful!
