Dear Emily & Fran,
I thought it most appropriate to write you a letter for this blog post. It was a pure delight to be a part of your special blessing ceremony a few weekends ago, and an event I will never forget.
I’ve enclosed a few photos I thought you might enjoy and I hope they will help you to re-live the day for the decades to come. I do believe they are some of the best photos, possibly that I have ever taken, if I do say so myself.
Wishing you a lifetime of love, joy & blessings!
Your friend & personal photographer,

To my blog readers….
Emily and Fran were so lucky, they got to have TWO weddings! One in May in New York, and a very special and intimate blessing ceremony here where Emily grew up, just outside of Templeton, california. Over the years it’s been a joy getting to know Emily’s family. From high school senior portraits, to college senior portraits, to enagagement photos and now a wedding, I truly feel like part of the family!
Emily’s sister, Ellie, actually works with us sometimes too….she has quite the eye for photography, and we are blessed each time we get to work together, like this Sunday! Thank you Mary Jo & Steve for having me be a part of these special times in you and your daughters lives, I am forever grateful!
I’d like to say this was an “english garden” wedding, however, I’ve never been to England, and I didn’t see any tea, so I guess that doesn’t fit. For sure, it had a theme of a garden and an undertone of literature… Emily and Fran are both creative writers, and quite talented from what I understand. Cameos and whim delighted their guests, and as the sun set, the dangling chandeliers lit and the party continued. Most definetely, one of the sweetest events of the season!
You’ll have to forgive my captions, I got a little carried away with the “writing” theme!
“Oh, hello Love!, perhaps you’d like to join me in a stroll?” ……
He kissed much better than the frog she had met earlier……
